It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amy Lewis of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on April 14, 2026, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Amy leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her father Dale Lee Thompson; her daughter Kaitlyn Marie Ann Lewis; and her brother Gregory D. "Houch" Thompson. She is survived by: her mother Patricia "Patti" Robertson (Robbins); her husband Bill of North Vernon; her stepmother Danilee Thompson of North Vernon; her close friend Mike Watkins; and her niece Kali Thompson of Indianapolis.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Amy to Susan B. Koman for Breast Cancer Research or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
