He was predeceased by: his father Garry Roney. He is survived by: his mother Claudia Tower (Sullivan) of Columbus; his wife Kim Roney (Taulman); his children, Christopher Roney of El Paso, Justin Craft of North Vernon, Samantha Minden (Dylan) of Spring Hill and Lacey Meister (Stephen) of Nineveh; his siblings, Craig Tower (Kimmy) of Columbus, Sherry McCory (Mark) of Tallahassee and Dina Walls (Dan) of Scottsburg; and his grandchildren, Bella and Tyler. He is also survived by two nephews and two nieces.

Memorials may be made in honor of Brian through the funeral home to Am Vets Post 7 of North Vernon.
