We announce the death of Dora Deane Byram in North Vernon, Indiana, born in Saint Bernice, Indiana, who passed away on August 14, 2026, at the age of 98. Dora will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Darryl Glaze and Mabel Pearman Glaze; her husband Bob; her son Michael Dirk Byram; her grandson Kevin O'Mara; her great grandchild Morgan Wright; and her great great grandchild David Byram.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Worrell (Braden) of Huntertown, Shirley Deckard of Indianapolis, Hank Byram (Michelle) of Dupont and Leslie Lowman (Jerry) of Scipio; and her grandchildren, Casey Byram (Shanna), Karie Bone (Jon), Sadie Schmidt (Jeff), Jody Deckard (Jeremy), Andrew Deckard (Kristina), Gabe Lowman (Jess), Bryce Worrell (Audrie) and Cole Byram. She is also survived by seventeen great-grandchildren, six step-greatgrandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
