He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kelly and Lucille Miller (Marksberry); his wife Barbara Jean Owens; his siblings, John, George W., David Earl Miller, Carolyn Ritchie, Darlene Miller and Irene Kuntz; his brother-in-law Jimmy Kuntz; his grandparents, Allen, Cora Marksberry, George and Rachel Miller; his niece Tena Turner; his nephew Roy Kuntz; his great-niece Rachel Mitchell-McVey; and his great-nephews, Joseph Turner, Tyler McVey, Douglas Mitchell III and Kegan Gilland.
He is survived by: his daughter Shelley Easter (Terry) of North Vernon; his stepsons, Todd Owens (Dana) of Butlerville, Shelbie Stice of Terre Haute, Anthony Stice of Taylorsville, Patrick Easter (Ashley) of Scipio, Mason Griffith of Columbus, Shandi Allen (Logan) of Columbus and Mikala Owens of North Vernon; and his brothers-in-law, Jimmie Ritchie Sr. of North Vernon, Ralph Owens (Connie) of North Vernon and Terry Owens of Seymour. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Doug to help with expenses.
