With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edith Marie Wood of North Vernon, Indiana, born in Madison, Indiana, who passed away on January 21, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Grover Cleveland and Edith Chloe Kidwell (Waters); her husband Donald "Don" Raymond Wood; and her grandson Jeremy Dee Wood. She is survived by : her children, Terry Wood (Julie) of North Vernon and Nancy Brooks (Jack) of North Vernon; her grandchildren, Christopher Brooks (Karen) of North Vernon, Pamela Stuckwisch (Brad) of Seymour and Dr. Katie McPherson (Brice) of Nashville, Tennessee; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Stuckwisch of Seymour, Taylor Stuckwisch of Seymour, Riley of North Vernon, Allie Brooks of North Vernon, James Rowen McPherson of Nashville, Tennessee and Gus Maddox McPherson of Nashville, Tennessee.

Memorials may be made in honor of Marie through the funeral home to The Lutheran Community Home in Seymour.
