He is survived by : his wife Cathy Howard of North Vernon; his children, Stephanie Driver of North Vernon, Ginger Howard of North Vernon, Bobbie Sue Howard of North Vernon, Michelle Howard of North Vernon, Haley Howard of North Vernon, Elbert Howard Jr. of North Vernon, Zachary Howard of North Vernon and Kevin Howard of Ohio; and his brothers, Doug of North Vernon and Lloyd Howard of North Vernon. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
