Though Erma may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Erma touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Hunger and Mabel Hunger (Licking); her husband James Robert Jones Sr.; and her siblings, Wesley, Norman, Floyd Hunger and Iola Zeh.
She is survived by: her children, James Robert Jones Jr. of North Vernon and Barbara Ann Compton of Greensburg; and her sisters, Marie Hizer of Lawrenceburg and Iris Nelson of Kentucky.
Memorials may be given in honor of Erma to Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
