He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herbert Meade and Ruth Meade (Cantrell); his mother-in-law Barbara Bowman; his grandfathers, Big, Ice Cream, Johnny Cash and Andy Griffith; his wife Barbara; his children, Tony Meade (Jamie) of North Vernon, Tim Meade (Lori Moran) of Rushville and Amanda Wilson (Nic) of Seymour; his sisters, Juanelle Shadday of North Vernon, Cheryl Axsom (Dean) of North Vernon and Karen Terry (Floyd) of North Vernon; his grandchildren, Ashley Meade (Carter Leak) of North Vernon, Emma Clapp of North Vernon, Wyatt Meade of North Vernon, Luke Clapp of North Vernon, Aubree Clapp of North Vernon and Reagan Meade of Edinburgh; his stepgrandsons, Tyler Wilkins of North Vernon, Cody King of North Vernon, Vincent Wilson of Seymour and Victor Wilson of Seymour; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Kinsley Wilkins of Dupont, Mitchell Wilkins of Dupont and Jolene King of Medora; and his brother Lowell Meade.
