We bid farewell to Ida Kiewitt of North Vernon, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 6, 2025 at the age of 80. Ida touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Simmons and Anna Simmons (Trapp); her son Scott Fuller; and her brothers, Ermit, Emerson and Raymond Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Maria Danielson (Don) of Virginia, Chris Wiggins (Kristi) of Versailles and Lianna McKinney (Frank) of North Vernon; her sisters, Janet Clerkin (Mike) of North Vernon, Joyce Pennycuff (Dee) of North Vernon and Cheryl McIntosh (Jimmy) of Commiskey; and her grandchildren, Olivia Clark of North Vernon, Zacary McKinney of Indianapolis, Luke Wiggins of Lexington, Kentucky and Emma Wiggins of Lexington, Kentucky.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Ida to the Alzheimer's Association.
