She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil L. Strickland and Glenna G. Strickland (Wadsworth); her siblings, Lewis C. Strickland, Floyd E. Strickland and Nettie E. Noel; her daughter-in-law Judith Kay Gholson Gresham; and her granddaughter Jessi Nicole Green.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice Richard Gresham; her children, Michael "Mike" D. Gresham (Jackie) of North Vernon, Dwight R. Gresham (Jodie) of Ellaville, Edward "Ed" L. (Shelley) of Americus, Georgia, Kathryn "Kathy" J. Stewart (Rick) of Henryville, Darlene D. Burnett (Chris) of North Vernon, Maurica "Rica" R. Askew (Greg) of North Vernon and Malinda "Mindy" D. Green (Donnie) of Adel, Georgia; her brother James "Jim" Strickland; and her grandchildren, Melissa Gosney (John), David Gresham (Crystal), Bobby Gresham (Joenetta), Eric Zellner (Angie), Denny Gholson (Mandy), Jon Gholson (Desiree), Maria Stewart (Hayley) of April Stewart, C. J., Ashton Burnett, Ashley White (Justin), Lindsey Williams (Zack), Logan Askew, Haleigh Askew, Kayden Gresham, Kyle Gresham, Naveah Shipman of Austin Shipman, C. J, Zipperer, Lauren Youngblood and Matthew Deblase. She is also survived by 29 great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made in honor of Irma through the funeral home to the North Vernon First Baptist Church.
