He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther "Poppy" Taulbee and Eleanora "Nan" Taulbee; and his brothers, Gregory James Taulbee and Barry Lynn Taulbee. He is survived by: his wife Shelly Taulbee; his children, James Taulbee Jr., Brandy Zamora (Tiger) and Nicholas Taulbee; his grandchildren, James Taulbee III (Cheyenne), Dustin Moore, Averi Zamora (Colson Leach), Allie Zamora and Finleigh Taulbee; his great grandchildren, Braelyn, Brynleigh Taulbee and River Moore; and his siblings, Tim Bogan, Brenda Bailey (Tim), Michelle Diane Nichols and Melissa Curtis (Scott). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
