She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ellis and Martha Ellis (Beeman); her spouse Alvie Arnold Patterson Jr.; and her siblings, Robert "Bobby" Ellis, Jess Beeman, Diana Grigsby, Joyce Clark and Patricia Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Patterson (Robin) of North Vernon, James Patterson (Deborah) of Scottsburg, Jerry Patterson (Trish) of Francesville, Michelle Taylor (Rob) of Franklin and Julie Head (John) of Live Oak, Florida; her siblings, Tim Ellis (Janice) of Nebraska and Deloris Fox (Paul) of Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Heather White (Stacey) of Medaryville, Jerri Bliton of North Vernon, John Head of Live Oak, Stephen Head of Live Oak, Jaime Patterson of Covington, Jennifer Gunter of Carmel, Jacob Patterson of Louisville, Chris Martin of Scottsburg, Jared Patterson of Francesville, Jason Patterson (Cylee) of Medaryville, Josh Taylor (Tayla) of Franklin, Zach Taylor of Hamlet, Tristan Taylor of Franklin, Jessica Patterson of North Vernon and Justin Patterson of North Vernon. She is also survived by twenty eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
