He was predeceased by: his parents, George Collins and Patricia Collins (Nease); and his siblings, David Collins and Jeannie Collins. He is survived by: his children, John Lightner of North Vernon, Anita McNeal (Cherry) of Moores Hill, April Kessinger of North Vernon and Leah Lightner of North Vernon; and his grandchildren, Sierra Kessinger of Butlerville, Issac Lightner of North Vernon, Anna Lightner of North Vernon and Alexis Kelley (Taylor Lacher) of Fort Wayne.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265).
