The memory of Jesse Alton Stoner of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by : his parents, James Stoner and Maggie Stoner (Guinn); his wife Betty Lou Stoner (Nelson); and his brothers, Hershel, Marvin and Marshall Stoner.

He is survived by : his children, Marcus Stoner of North Vernon, Stephanie Stoner of North Vernon and Cheryl Payne (Quinn) of North Vernon; his brother Norman "Joe" Stoner (Carolyn) of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Chad Caldwell (Christy), Scott Stoner, Dustin Stoner (Christina), Myranda Stoner and Sarah Stokes (Chris); and his great grandchildren, Andrew Stoner, Desmond Stokes, Henry Stokes and Dallas Stokes.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
