Lois Bailey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Bailey of North Vernon, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 14, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lois Bailey to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvin Campbell and Viola Campbell (Lewis); her husband Roy Bailey; and her siblings, Arthur, James, George Campbell, Mabel Campbell, Betty Hybarger and Ruth Downs.
She is survived by: her children, Roy David Bailey (Terri) of North Vernon, Tom Bailey (Melissa) of North Vernon and Lora Young (John) of North Vernon; and her siblings, Charlie Campbell (Joyce) of North Vernon, Donald Campbell (Peggy) of North Vernon and Kathleen Fields (Edward) of Avawam, Kentucky. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home (420 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Lois to the Alzheimer's Association for Research.
