He was predeceased by: his parents, Loran Montgomery and Beatrice James Montgomery; and his son James Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Montgomery of North Vernon; his children, Willie Montgomery of North Vernon, Wayne Montgomery of Columbus, Gordon Montgomery of Crothersville, Tina Montgomery of Columbus, Cindy McKay and Lori Smith of Freetown; and his brothers, Larry Montgomery of North Vernon and Bobby Meadows of Greensburg. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
