She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lester and Josephine Phillips Parks; her son Terry W. "Swannie" Elliott; her sisters, Betty Fox and Clara Hunsucker; and her grandson Robert Allen "Robby" Redding.
She is survived by: her children, Tracy Elliott of North Vernon and Sherry Cooper of North Vernon; her granddaughter Angel Elliott of North Vernon; and her niece Dela Holley (Tony) of Elizabethtown.
Memorials may be made in honor of Phyllis through the funeral home to Mercy Rescue and Adoption Inc.
