He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddy G. Ferre'Bruner and Raquel Ferre'Bruner; his wife Cynthia Bruner; his sons, Bobby and Scotty Bruner; and his brother Ernest Bruner.

He is survived by: his brother Russell Bruner; his sister-in-law Stella; and his sister Karen Richie. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews.
