He was predeceased by: his in-law Dorothy; and his sister-in-law Tara Burnett. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer "JJ" Compton and Colin "Coley" Burnett (Christie); his grandchildren, Ayden Compton, Corey Carter and Claire Carter; and his brother Dr. Bill Burnett (Beth) of Indiana. He is also survived by brothers-in-law.
