She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dale and Joan Marsh Bentz; her nephew Steven Williams; and her brother-in-law William Miller (Bill). She is survived by: her siblings, Jonathan Bentz (Linda), David Bentz (Becky), Elizabeth Williams (Larry) and Judith Bentz-Miller; and her siblings' children, Tracy Schildkecht (David), Christina Bentz-Alcorn (Joey), Charlie Bentz (Amy), Andrea Edwards (Jason), Andrew Bentz (Lauren), Ashley Blackman, Matthew Williams (Leslie) and Alex Miller. She is also survived by great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the Jennings County Community Foundation - Joan Bentz Scholarship Fund.
