She was predeceased by: her mother Nellie Mae Walls Renfro; and her brothers, Timothy and Melvin Renfro. She is survived by: her father Everett L. Renfro of Holton; her husband Samuel Elzea of Mary's Catholic Church; and her sons, James Elzea of North Vernon and Aaron Elzea of North Vernon.
