It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edwin Ramey Jr. of North Vernon, Indiana, who passed away on March 7, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas E. Ramey Sr. and Grace Hilda Ramey (Jines); his former life partner Gladys June Kenens (Swinney); and his siblings, Stanley L., George Ramey and Judy Scott.

He is survived by : his wife Barbara Loveless; his children, Daniel E. Ramey (Cristy) of North Vernon, Dale Thomas Ramey (Melissa) of North Vernon and Colleen Gabbard of North Vernon; his stepchildren, Neil Smith (Kasey) of North Vernon and Marsha Maciel (Tony) of Texas; his former life partner Teresa Asher of North Vernon; his siblings, Raymond Ramey (Janet) of North Vernon, Rob Ramey (Deb) of North Vernon and Kim Steltenpohl (Bud) of Seymour; and his grandchildren, Steele Case of North Vernon, Amber Bennett (Logan) of North Vernon, Justin Ramey of North Vernon, Jake Ramey (Kenny McGraw) of Indianapolis, Kade Cook of Indianapolis, Myranda Jennings (Sean) of Indianapolis and Brooke Burton (David) of Seymour.
