She was predeceased by: her parents, Carla Sue Collinsworth Adams and Jesse Adams; and her sisters, Georgianna Adams, Carrolynn Adams and Charolette King.
She is survived by: her son Joe Reason; her daughter-in-law Brooke of North Vernon; her grandson Zachary Reason; her great grandchild Tinley Reason; and her sisters, Barbara Adams Collett and Cassie Adams.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Service (115 S State St, North Vernon, IN 47265). A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at the Vernon Cemetery (315 S Pike St, Vernon, IN 47282).
Memorials may be made in Vera's memory to Anew Hospice through the Funeral Home.
