He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Maria Victoria Jernigan (Vicky); his stepdaughter Tasia Shepherd (Kenton); his daughters, Stephanie Surfus (Jeff) and Joseanne Nyce (Don); his siblings, William Jernigan (Willy), Don Jernigan and Sara Edgar (Rick); his former wife Diana Kay Jernigan (Leap); his daughter Monica Jernigan (Monk); his brother Ken Jernigan; and his parents, Hubert Jernigan and Virgie Jernigan.
