He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald Lockhart and Jane Lockhart (Mangene). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Lockhart; his daughter Lisa Lockhart; his grandchildren, Austin Lockhart and Aubrey Nyhart; his stepson Nate Bryan (Jeneyln); his stepgrandsons, Ethan and Aiden Bryan; his stepson Tom Bryan (Tracy); his stepgrandson Drake Bryan; and his siblings, Everett Lockhart, Penny Hepler, Joy Lockhart and Lois Plank. He is also survived by extended family including many nieces and nephews.
