With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert C. Searer of North Webster, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble L. Searer and Una L. Searer (Bowers); his wife Betty Wells (Secor); his former wife Marleen Kopach (Howell); his stepdaughters, Linda Breitzke and Patricia Wells; his son-in-law Gregory Breitzke Sr.; and his siblings, Audrey Berger, Richard Searer, Keith Searer, Max Searer and Noble Searer.
He is survived by: his sons, Robert Searer of Los Angeles, CA, James Searer (Michelle) of Wheatfield and John Searer (Marsha) of Wheatfield; his stepdaughter Kathy Austin (Dave) of Plymouth; his grandchildren, John Searer (Julie) of Portage, Joseph Searer of Portage, Kaitlyn Searer of Sevierville, TN, Jacqueline Anderson (James) of Tampa, FL, Matthew Searer of Sevierville, TN, Emily Searer of DeMotte, Lukas Searer of Wheatfield and Trinity Searer of Austin, TX; his stepgrandchildren, Gregory Breitzke, Jr. (Jenene) of Kouts, Matthew Breitzke (Lindsey) of Broken Arrow, OK, Ryan Mann (Laurie) of Winfield and Richard Mann (Misty) of Portage; his great grandchildren, Colton, Jack, John and Jessica Searer; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Travis, Cassie, Collin, Jace and Stella Breitzke; and his brother Norman Searer of Colby, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
