He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl W. Morgan and Marie A. Morgan (Kieffer); his siblings, Ann Vinson, Mary Morgan, Marlene Donegan, Robert J. Morgan, Sr. and Marvin Morgan; and his nephew Robert J. Morgan, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Diane J. Morgan (Boklund); his son Matthew E. Morgan (Nicole) of Carmel, Indiana; his granddaughters, Grace Morgan and Zoe Morgan; his nephew David Morgan of LaPorte; and his sister Patricia Meyers (Jim) of Arizona.
