We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026, at the age of 74, James B. Farley of Northwest, Indiana, born in Harlan, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, James is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Buck Farley and Jennell Dallas Farley; and his sister Judy Casko. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Farley, Amanda Farley and Michelle Thurman; his son-in-law Buddy Thurman; his grandchildren, Ethan Ewing, Hendrix Thurman, Ophelia Thurman and Mazzy Thurman; and his brothers, Tom Farley and Robert Farley.
