She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Huge and Bertha Felton Huge; her husband Wilbur Eggert; and her brother Fred Huge. She is survived by: her sons, Raymond Eggert (Laura), Ronald Eggert (Linda), Randall Eggert (Alynn) and Roger Eggert (Narcine); her grandchildren, Joshua Eggert (Christina), Loren Eggert (Chelsea), Christopher Eggert (Maggie), Stephanie Eggert, Jennifer Saunders (Alex), Tyler Eggert (Teresa), Garrett Eggert, Quinlan Eggert, Trevor Eggert and Reece Eggert; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Nathan, Allison, Adeline, William, Wyatt, Colton, Coraline, Nora, Cora and Carter; her brother Richard Huge (Margaret); and her sister-in-law Esther Kendall (late Fred Huge). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Haverstock Funeral Home (602 Maple Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
