He is survived by: his wife Anice Smith (Brown); his sister Judy Kaplan of Waltham; his former wives, Carole Smith (Mendelsohn) and Lisa Gossels (Warren) of Framingham; and his stepsons, David Ginsburg (Jen) of Worcester and Jamie Ginsburg (Lisa) of Worcester.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Melvin's memory to prostate cancer research or to a veterans' organization of your choice.
