He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenia Petersen (Fagan) and Harry Petersen. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Petersen (Vitullo); his children, Tom Petersen (Anne), Virginia Petersen (Jon Schnorr), John Petersen (Sharon Bain) and Christian Petersen; and his grandchildren, Kathryn Buehler, Eric Petersen, Jonathan Petersen, Ellie Schnorr, Ben Schnorr, Matthew Petersen, Danny Petersen, Michael Petersen, Nino Petersen and Evie Petersen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto St. Mary's College. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
