He was predeceased by: his father Raymond Gross; his daughters, Tammy and Beth Gross; his grandson Michael McQuiston; his great grandchild Kiley Cox; and his siblings, Eunice Gillam, Bufford Gross, Thelma Wireman and LeVaughn Gross.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Sanders; his children, Karen Harrell (Ron), Darryl Gross (Diana) and Renita Taflinger (Tim); his grandchildren, Denise McQuiston, Stephanie Cox, Wendy Watters (Travis), Robbie Gross, Timmy Taflinger (Hollie), Jeremy Taflinger (Becky), Ashley Hindle (Johnathan), David Harrell (Tina) and Alinda Morin (Jerry); and his sister Lois Briscoe (David). He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren.
