He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Grinstead and Margaret Grinstead; his wife Shirley Grinstead; and his siblings, Lois Schnadinger (Grinstead) and Samuel Grinstead.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth and Summer Grinstead; his grandson Kaden Grinstead; and his sibling's children, Grant Grinstead, Greta Zaccardelli (Grinstead) and Brian Schnadinger.
