With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Russell M. Wagner (Oldenburg, Indiana), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert and Caroline; his siblings, Brenda S. Wagner (Howard) and John E. Wagner; and his great grandchild Ralphie Pickett.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Katie" Tekulve of Hamburg; his children, Daniel M. Wagner and Sandra K. Short (Robert) of Batesville; his sisters, Carol A. Stenger (Steve) of Hamburg and Mary K. Graves (Kevin) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Robbie Short (Kathy) and Ashley Pickett (David); and his great grandchildren, Rylee, Harper and Chase. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Family Church (3027 Pearl St, Oldenburg, IN 47036). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Margaret Mary Health Foundation Hospice or the Margaret Mary Health Cancer Center.
