He is survived by: his children, Antan Purnell (Courtney), Darrin Purnell Jr. and Anya Braggs; his wife Tanya Purnell; his siblings, Vernon Purnell (Julie), Floyd Acoff (Fay), Lawrence Purnell, Debbril Ann Morris (JE) and Jeanette Sykes (Andre); and his grandchildren, Chandler Purnell, Antan Purnell II, Kyndall Purnell and Sydney Stephenson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
