He was predeceased by : his parents, Lowell Howard and Carrie Marie Magner (Morris); his wife Norma Joyce Anderson; his son Michael Grant Magner; and his siblings, Howard, Lawrence, Mary Margaret Arnold and Imogene Hazelbaker.

He is survived by : his children, Kathy Wilson (Loran) of Orleans and Mark Magner (Susan) of Kingwood, TX; his grandchildren, Kristi Sweeney (Anthony), Kara Lee (Brian), Grant Magner (Brittany), Casey Magner (Kaytlynn Gourley) and Katelyn Gardner (Cody); his sister Joanne Hudson (Morris) of Columbia, MO; and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Magner of Corydon, IN and Glenna Felch of Versailles, KY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Old Union Cemetery Fund.
