James William Crockett Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James William Crockett of Orleans, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Crockett and Ruth Crockett (Ward); his wife Lou Ann Crockett; his siblings, Harriet Crockett, Franklin Crockett, John Crockett, Kenneth Crockett, Georgia Snoke and Shirley Neukam; his grandson Jonathan Ingram; and his great grandchild Kristian Turnquist.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marla Baker (John) of Campbellsburg, IN and Janelle Springer (Mark) of Paoli, IN; his grandchildren, Carrie Ingram (Demetrius Clark) of Merrillville, IN, Stacia Turnquist (Roger) of Campbellsburg, IN, Jennifer Davidson (Justin) of Campbellsburg, IN, Ashley Brown (Adam) of Campbellsburg, IN, Daniel Springer (Holly) of Paoli, IN, Brian Springer (Brandi) of Paoli, IN, Allison Fischer (Jeff) of Paoli, IN, Thomas Springer (Taylor) of Paoli, IN, Brian Walton (Scarlette) of Sarasota, FL, John Baker (Cheryl) of Salem, IN and Aaron Baker (Joy) of Salem, IN; and his sister Patricia Puckett. He is also survived by 26 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home (187 E Jefferson St, Orleans, IN 47452). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
