It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark Alan Sturgeon of Orleans, Indiana, born in New Albany, Indiana, who passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bobby L. Sturgeon and Norma R. Sturgeon (Allen); his sister Barbara Sturgeon; and his brother-in-law Evan Oxley. He is survived by: his close friend Peggy Maudlin of Orleans; his stepchildren, Danielle Anderson of Paoli and Jeffrey Anderson of Bedford, Indiana; and his sisters, Debbie Oxley of Eckerty, Terry Andry (Eddie) of Birdseye and Lisa Sturgeon of English, Indiana. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of the funeral expenses.
