We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2025, at the age of 95, Mervin Jones of Orleans, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther S. Jones and Ilene E. Jones (Benham); his wife Mary Jane McBride Henderson; his daughter Brenda Case; his siblings, Melvin Jones, Vera Dino, Naomi Belcher, Elouise Helms and Rose Mary Huff; and his grandson Scott Clements.
He is survived by: his children, Virgil R. Jones (Sheila) of Terre Haute, Donnie L. Jones of Milltown, Michael T. Henderson (Patricia) of Utica, Vickie Dalton (David) of Orleans and Susie Tipton (Les) of Bedford; and his siblings, Steven Jones of Brookville, FL and Charlene Smith of Bloomington. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McAdams Mortuary (500 SW 1st St, Paoli, IN 47454). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at the Mathers Chapel Cemetery.
