We bid farewell to Richard Gehl of Orleans, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 13, 2025 at the age of 38. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his grandfather Donald Baldwin; his aunts and uncles, Stevie Baldwin, Marvin Gehl, Herbert Gehl, Herman Gehl, James Gehl of Edwin, Susan Terrell, Norma Hoppus and Carol Brooks; and his grandmother Estellee Gehl.
He is survived by: his parents, Carl Gehl and Donna Gehl (Baldwin); his children, Kayden and Waylon Gehl; his sister Lindsay Edwards (Dave); his grandmother Sue Baldwin; his half-brother Carl Brown; his sibling's children, Sophia and Jackson; and his aunts, Carolyn Slover, Mary Vasileff and Janet Owens.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Ochs-Tetrick Funeral Home (187 E Jefferson St, Orleans, IN 47452). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the educational fund for Kayden and Waylon.
