She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell E. Hovarter and Helen B. Hovarter (Snyder); her daughter Crystal Griggs; her brother LaVern; her sisters-in-law, Trudy Hovarter and Elzie Hovarter; and her nephew Todd Hovarter.
She is survived by: her brother Ron Hovarter of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kyle Griggs, Justin Spier and Rachael Spier; her sibling's children, Tammy Williams of LaPaz, IN, Tabitha Young of LaPaz, IN, Kary ILer of Buchanan, MI, Jeff Hovarter (Tracy) of Battle Creek, MI, Kent Hovarter of Elkhart, IN., Jeremy, Ryan, Ben (Emma) and Nick (Sara); and her pet Charlie. She is also survived by companion, and the love of her life.
