She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Karst and Martha Ann Karst (Crum); and her nieces, Tracey Stanfield, Jennifer DuFresne (Brian) and Jessica Balls (Brady).
She is survived by: her husband Allen Kardell; her children, Jackie Grayson-Zielinski (Thomas) and Kevin Wasmer (Mindy); her grandchildren, Xavier, Alivia, Audrey, Ian, Nolan and Makenzie; and her sisters, Gail Whitehead (Jan) and MariLou Gilman.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home (10776 McKinley Hwy, Osceola, IN 46561). A memorial service was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
