In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Elizabeth shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo B. McGrath and Helen McGrath (O'Neal). She is survived by: her sisters, Rita Mayer (Frank) and Aileen Jenner; and her siblings' children, Frank L. Mayer, Tiffani Hines (Duncan), Elizabeth Anderson (Steven), Thomas Mayer (Erin) and Colleen Nelson (Clark). She is also survived by nine great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (87 Lacy St NW, Marietta, GA 30060). Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calumet Park Funeral Chapel (7535 W Taft St, Merrillville, IN 46410).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Christ Child Society of South Bend.
