He was predeceased by: his parents, August Payne, and Evelyn Payne, Sr. (Becker). He is survived by: his daughters, Kaylie Payne (Elijah King) of Cleveland and McKenzi Payne of Riceville, Tennessee; his adoptive mother Diane White (Bill); and his siblings, Gilbert Payne of Georgia, Beth Schrader (Mac) of Sawyer, Leslie Jenkins, Kim White-Ward, Lori White Beshears, Brad Payne (Betty), Ron Payne (Margaret), Johnny Payne (Tammy) and Daniel Payne. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
