He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ellsworth Kempf Sr. and Val Jean Kempf (Smith); and his brothers, Butch Kempf and Denny Kempf. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Kempf (Peggy); his sons, TJ Kempf (Kirsten) and Steve Kempf; and his grandchildren, Allyssa Kempf, Sydney Kempf, Hanna Kitkowski, Courtney Hayes (Collin), Skylar Kempf and Rylan Kempf.
