With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William McCarthy of Osceola, Indiana, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 92. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lee and Elva Irene McCarthy (Chadwell); his sons, Michael McCarthy and Patrick "Kelly" McCarthy; his daughter-in-law Cheryl McCarthy; and his siblings, Virgil, Robert, Donald, Dewayne McCarthy, Helen Bemis, Lindy McQueary and Betty Culp.
He is survived by: his son Chris A. McCarthy; and his daughters-in-law, Ronna and Cindy McCarthy. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cruz Family Funeral Home (1109 Lincolnway W, Osceola, IN 46561). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at the same location.
