It is with sadness that the passing of Helen Maxine Grigsby (Osgood, Indiana) is shared. Helen, born on January 11, 1937, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Abplanalp and Louella Abplanalp (Arthur); her husband James "Jim" Grigsby; her children, Jeff Grigsby and Brenda Simon; and her grandson Tracy Coleman.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Grigsby (Donna) and Becky Coleman; her grandchildren, Travis Coleman, Troy Coleman, Shawn Ison (Samantha), Dalton Grigsby (Melissa), Haley Settles (Shawn), Logan Simon (Brittany) of Jacob Simon, D. J. and Alisha Simon; her great grandchildren, Trevor, Liam, Aubree, Peyton, Grayson and Callie Mae; and her son-in-law Wayne Simon. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Neal's Funeral Home (306 S Walnut St, Osgood, IN 47037). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the Grigsby Family Cemetery in care of the funeral home.
