She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Silcott and Irene Silcott (Caddell); her husband James "Jim" Kreimer; her son Michael McCarty; and her sister Barbara Silcott.

She is survived by: her daughter Cathy Hughes (Jason) of Osgood; her cousins, Paul Mayer, Mark Caddell, Carol Roark, Susan Roeder and Chad Caddell; and her granddaughter Becca Meister (Allie) of Osgood.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home (707 S Main St, Milan, IN 47031). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be given in honor of Irma to Ripley County Humane Society.
