It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Joe Vollmer (Osgood, Indiana), born in Batesville, Indiana, who passed away on June 29, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Vollmer and Martha Vollmer (Wilson). He is survived by: his wife Anita Ahlrich; his children, Reyna Dieckmann (Kyle) and Andrew Vollmer (Ali); his grandchildren, Audrey Dieckmann, Lennox, Harrison and Maxwell Vollmer; and his siblings, John Vollmer (Pamela), Robert Vollmer (Elaine), Rita and Linda Kanning (Myron). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Greendale or Mud Pike Cemeteries or the Osgood Fire Department, in care of Neal's Funeral Home.
