With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joan Wyatt of Ossian, Indiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joan left this world on December 5, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen A. "Pete" Rupert and Wilda P. Rupert (Riley); her siblings, Richard Allen Rupert and Pauline Kolter; and her aunt Ruth Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond D. Wyatt of Ossian, Indiana; her daughter Denise Ensign (Kevin) of Roanoke, Indiana; her stepchildren, Ronda Price of Fort Wayne, Terri Edmonds (Brian) of Fort Wayne, Indiana and Michael R. Wyatt (Jean) of Granby, Colorado; her sisters, Shirley Hurst (Gene) of Decatur, Gloria Kohli (Bill) of Fort Wayne and Deborah Agler (Tim) of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her grandchildren, Austin Ensign (Jessica), Shane Ensign (Amanda), Courtney Wallace (Nick), Jessica Wyatt, Paige Price, RaeAnne Gilley, Kimberly Everson (Tony), Randy Gilley, Amy McCullough (Kevin), Beka Middleton, Kode Wyatt and Dustin Wyatt. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home- Decatur (520 N 2nd St, Decatur, IN 46733). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Preferred memorials can be made in Jo's honor to the donor's choice.
